red and yellow leaves

white clouds in a bright blue sky

comes a surprise rain

comes a surprise rain

washes away dust and pollen

now perfumed air

the aroma of oak fires

in many warm homes

cups of cocoa with ginger snaps

while sitting by windows

beguiled by the view
