Yes and No Foods

Beans and peas and whole wheat are fine,
no salt nor sugar nor red meat when I dine.
The doctor was quite clear about the list,
he showed the lab results so I’d get the gist.
Now I buy powdered sage, onion and curry
in my meals of bland rice and lentils I bury.
No more cheese burgers at the roof of red,
at the buffet with Pad-Thai and sushi instead.
