New Year comes with promise and hope,
and with new problems with which to cope.
We have faced many of life’s crises before
and for sure this year there will be more.
As in the past new tests we’ll face,
each we’ll deal with, case by case.
At obstacles, of hope we’re glad,
it is a weapon we’ve always had.
