What I Learn from Television
From Jessica in Cabot Cove, I now believe,
if she is nearby, I should take my leave.
Blanch, Sophia, Rose and Dorothy have fun,
youngsters think that‘s how being old is done..
Oxford, of Inspector Lewis, is a dangerous place,
gifted boys and girls, each has a pretty face.
Folks like Fraser grasp the theory of being,
the actual reasons for deeds they’re not seeing.
Cheers, on yuppie Beacon Street, as a bar is hot,
but a view of the true Boston you won’t spot.
On television facets of culture, they show,
whether truthful or not, it’s hard to know.
