the sensual water
The warm water streams
from the nozzle and cascades
on my head and face
the luscious feeling of warm fluid
pours down my welcoming body.
Europe has its spa
the Near East its hamam
Japan its onsen
all for enjoying the waters
and its splendor.
Here at the hospital
I have the shower.
The warm water, the soft sponge,
the pure fragrance of soap
and the blissful swish
of the flowing water,
make this a joyful spa.
