middle of the universe,

the cosmos?

close and wide
with us or not.
Friends
old and new
near and lost.
Things
but not many
most of little value
but with patina of recall.
Places
seen daily
or only in memory
or never seen.
Tastes
bread self made
morning tea
and salt air.
How many galaxies can
a universe hold?
