Let's Walk
Let's walk
that road
with so many
twists and curves,
maybe go down
a side path
or two.
Look! There's a meadow
where, by the brook,
we can play,
blow dandelion seeds
and make wishes.
Let's not travel
too fast or
too slow.
Let's not miss
the bright yellow buttercups,
the chickadee's cheerful call
and the sweet wild blackberries.
But let's not linger
at a crossroad or
at a dip in the road.
The road with all
the turns and hidden bends,
let's walk.
