A Brand New Start

If life has a brand new start
a thing or two might play a different part.

There might be woods of feathered trees
and furry snakes shaped like bees.

We'll have to eat seaweed pie
while watching rabbits laugh and fly.

There's a full moon or three every night
so we can play or read by the light.

Green and yellow will have smells
the other colors will have bells.

Well, if we have brand new starts
maybe we'll want the same old parts.
